Mij name is Leo Korbee. I am a teacher at the Graafschap College (ROC) in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. You could compare or translate this to a Technical high school or secondary vocational education. The students are at age from 16 to 19/20 years.
After 25 years in the ICT profession as Senior ICT specialist, I made the switch to educate IT. I did my didactic / pedagogical education after my electronics BSc degree.
In teaching my focus areas are Data Communication (Cisco), Internet of Things, Embedded Programming and Object Oriented Programming (Java). I have a broad interest, from electronics (my hobby and initial education) to programming microcontrollers in C, C++. I also teached at the Smart Industry (Industry 4.0) education.
As a system and network administrator I have worked with very different network equipment, including Cisco and HP. I obtained my CCNA industrial certificate and I am a Cisco instructor for Netacad CCNA Routing and switching. I also have obtained my Cisco Instructor DevNet certification.
Besides technology, I am also interested in people and learning. Also as basketball coach of the team of our youngest son.
In my spare time I love to work with electronics, embedded devices, Pi Single Board Computers and to learn about wireless communications. Most of the projects are posted on this site. I have also gained my Full License for HAM radio and have the callsign PA1KBE. I am not a frequent listener on the air, but loved to learn about the techniques.
